Although the Internet is growing rapidly, the user base is growing even faster. Since more and more users are using the Internet and software packages tend to become larger, we often encounter network congestion that left us with partially download files, which is useless digital garbage. This is a tremendous waste of time and money.

Fortunately, the creators of the Internet has provisioned this situation and proposed ways to save us from calamity -- RESUMING is introduced into the RFCs for both HTTP and FTP protocols.

Following the first generation of "Downloaders" like GetRight, emerged the second generation of Downloaders with multi-thread functionality to separate a single file into chunks and download simultaneously.
